In what has now been deemed the “age of post-truth”, Shattered (working title) documents the lives of four journalists in the midst of an industry-wide crisis. Set against the backdrop of fake news and alt-facts, the film uses a cinema verite approach to capture the incertitude of our time.

Since Shattered began filming more than 300 jobs, and 37 newspapers have been lost with even more changes occurring each day that impact the lives of not only journalists, but you, the readers as well.
